I made this video and sang the song, Genesis is my favorite band and this version of the song is by Paul Carrack with Steve Hackett on guitar. I'ts just a snippet but it works.. vocals aren't the best but I wasn't trying to make them be. Just thought I'd share.

one track lover.. gawd I love this video
The following video is from Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. The guy singing is Matt Berry he plays Dr. Julian Sanchez, the blonde is "Liz" and the "bartender" is
"Dr.Thornton" who is played by Richard Ayoade. (not shown is "Dr. Dagless" who is also "Garth Marenghi" who is actually Matthew Holness. If you ever get a chance to see the show it's really quite funny.

There goes the sun!
Here Comes The Sun.. it's alright!
It felt so nice to go out today and feel the warm sun on my shoulders, it's still a little breezy but the warmth made me want to stay out longer, to sit out somewhere and read a book or to roll around in the grass like my dog.

There's the
grass roller!
So I suggest that if you have the chance get out there and enjoy the lovely sunny day.. that's what I'm gonna go do right now!
Well.. what are you waiting for.. go! hee hee..

God's beautiful creations:in Mum's Garden
'Tis my faith that every flower
Enjoys the air it breathes!
~William Wordsworth,
As I've stated previously, I love taking nature pics.. this was taken in my Mum's garden, can you see the little cricket in the center? Hello Jiminy!
"Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made, and forgot to put a soul into. "
~Henry Beecher
Mum and I love pansies, this was also taken from pansies in her garden. My Mum has a green thumb and she prefers to grow an English garden. I prefer it as well to be honest. I love Lupines and all the flowers that remind me of a little cottage. I bet if you look hard enough you can see a little flower fairy hanging out beneath the petals.

Earth laughs in flowers.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Hamatreya"
A Gorgeous Zinnia! Wouldn't you say? Well I would so there! Another taken from Mum's garden, I must say the photographer is simply amazing! (Little pat on the back for myself there) Wow.. God is so neat, he adorns the earth with the most beautiful little creations. King Solomon in all his glory didn't wear robes as beautiful as these."Look at us, said the violets blooming at her feet, all last winter we slept in the seeming death but at the right time God awakened us, and here we are to comfort you". ~Edward Payson Rod
I'll post more pictures from my Mum's Garden and other nature pics that I've been taking over the years.
I'm a bit of a shutterbug!-Pics of Onset
What to blog about.. what a conundrum
Damn I loved that movie.. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are hilarious together, If you haven't seen Hot Fuzz you must stop reading, get up.. walk out the door go to your nearest purveyor of quality videos..OR netflix! Unless you're lucky to have a handy-dandy thing called "redbox" which if you ask me sounds bloody obscene.. anywho.. A lovely little machine that is filled with dvds! All for a dollar! Which is where I picked it up! (may I add not for sale for a dollar.. you actually have to return it!)
Back to the movie; If you rather enjoy side-splitting humour then you should watch this film, I won't spoil it for you but there are some lovely old grannies in it that you wouldn't wanna meet in a dark alley. In this picture they're enjoying a cornetto. Now for us Americanos.. that's the equivalent of those awesome cones that have the ice cream, chocolate and nuts on top.. ooh what's the name.. it escapes me, anyway.. here's what Wikipedia says about it:

Cornetto is a branded frozen ice cream cone, manufactured by Unilever and marketed throughout the world under various different company names, but with the same Heartbrand logo.
The idea of selling frozen ice-cream cones had long been a dream of ice-cream makers, but it was not until 1959 that Spica[1], an Italian ice-cream manufacturer based in Naples conquered the problem of the ice-cream making the cone go soggy. Spica invented a process, whereby the inside of the waffle cone was insulated from the ice-cream by a layer of oil, sugar and chocolate. Spica registered the name Cornetto in 1960. Initial sales were poor, but in 1976 Unilever bought out Spica and began a mass-marketing campaign throughout Europe. It is now one of the most popular ice-creams in the world

In film
The Cornetto is referenced in the motion picture Shaun of the Dead. In one scene, Shaun (Simon Pegg) asks Ed (Nick Frost) if he needs anything from the shop. Ed responds, "Cornetto." This scene is repeated with the same actors in Hot Fuzz, and is a reference to co-writer and director Edgar Wright, whose preferred hangover cure is a Cornetto. In Shaun of the Dead, the flavour used was strawberry, which has red packaging to signify blood, and in Hot Fuzz, the flavour was classico (vanilla), which has blue packaging to signify police colours. A third film in the 'Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy' has been announced by Pegg and Wright, and the flavour will be mint. The film will be called The World´s End.
